  1.     Ventura Publisher 3.0 Windows 11/90 Patch
  2.  
  3. This disk contains modified files that allow you to:
  4. o    Use Ventura Publisher on your local drive while attached to a Local 
  5.     Area Network.
  6. o    Display scalable screen fonts.
  7. o    Print solid black rules near the edge of the page on Hewlett-Packard 
  8.     LaserJet printer.
  9. o    Print spot color overlays correctly.
  10. o    Corrects miscellaneous problems in the hyphenation.
  11.  
  12. Installing the Patch:
  13. o    Insert the Patch disk into your A: drive.
  14. o    At the A:\> prompt, type: COPY \PATCH\*.* C:\VENTURA and press ENTER.
  15.     Type DELETE C:\VENTURA\USER.WFT and press ENTER.
  16.     (If your \VENTURA subdirectory is on a drive other than C,
  17.     substitute that drive letter for "C".  
  18.     For example, COPY \PATCH\*.* D:\VENTURA.)
  19.     The modified files overwrite existing files in the \VENTURA directory.
  20. o    Remove the patch disk from the A: drive and store it in  a safe place.
  21. o    You may now run the 11/90 patched version of Ventura Publisher.
